Naomi is currently Head of Planning and Data Insight at the University of Essex. Naomi has overall responsibility in the reporting of data in order to improve the university’s performance to support its strategic aims. The effective use of data at the University of Essex has allowed the University of Essex to manage resources and make decisions more effectively. This has resulted in the university growing its student base by 50% in 5 years and being amongst the top 15 mainstream English universities for overall student satisfaction (National Student Survey 2019). Prior to working at Essex, Naomi worked in analytical, policy and communications roles in a number of organisations across the higher education sector including The University of East London, the Russell Group, Universities UK and the Medical Schools Council.
